Yarn Handmade - Just for You

Hello friends -thanks for stopping by today! I am loving the new Spellbinders Handmade Collection by Stephanie Low.  Perfect stamps and Dies for any creative person - definitely not limited to paper addicts! Wink:wink!!  As someone who has kitted since I was 6 years old - this set appeals to me greatly!

I have stamped a knitted block of five (5) rows of the knitted strip from theYarn Handmade by Stephanie Low Stamp and Die Set  using Imagine Memento Inks in Tuxedo Black and  three separate rows Teal Zeal.  The block pattern has been coloured in pink and the zeal in blue - using Chameleon Pens.  The blue knitted strips have been cut/embossed using the co-ordinating dies and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

The knitted block has been trimmed around the edges and the the blue strips popped up on alternating rows of knitting using Crafty Foam Tape - starting at the top of the block. The layered card front has been popped up onto a card front embossed using the Embossing Folders Tammy Tutterow Designs Horsehair and sponged using Teal Zeal ink and a sponge dauber.  All layers have been adhered to a pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

Next I have stamped two lots of flowers using  Imagine Memento Inks in Tuxedo Black and coloured using Chameleon Pens and cut/embossed using the co-ordinating Dies.  Next they have been adhered to opposite corners. Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L small white 3D Foam Squares have been added under the flowers, each side of the knitted strip.

The sentiment and kitting have been stamped Imagine Memento Inks in Tuxedo Black, coloured using Chameleon Pens and cut/embossed using the co-ordinating Dies.  Next they have been adhered to the centre of the card with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L small white 3D Foam Squares underneath on each side of the knitted strip.

Grateful for You

Hello friends - thank you for stopping by! Yesterday I shared a tutorial using one of the Spellbinders Stamp and Die sets (you an find it HERE) and had a stamped image left over put that together with the fact that I have been busy 'pottering' with leftover papers - the ones that are too pretty to throw out but can't sit around and clutter my desk for too much longer - do you have the same thing happen - or is it just me?! Wink:wink!! It all has to add up to a card....

The card front has been created by adhering some of my favourite left over pieces of patterned paper, from DCWV and Graphic 45, to some recycled cardboard.  This has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Thirty-Eight Etched Dies #6 (#1 being the smallest) The card base has been cut using white card stock using  Labels Thirty-Eight #7 and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 6″ Platform.

The feather from the One of a Kind Handmade by Stephanie Low Stamp and Die Set has been stamped using black ink and coloured using Chameleon Pens.  It has then been cut/embossed using the co-ordinating die and popped up onto the centre of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares

.  A computer generated sentiment has been adhered below the feather using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.  Sequins have been randomly added

Spellbinders Handmade One of a Kind Tutorial

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by!  Today I am sharing a tutorial for Spellbinders and giving you a little sneak peek of a card created using one of the new stamp and Die sets by Licensed Designer Stephanie Low.  I do love her style and I have to be honest and say - this card is one of the quickest cards I have made - the co-ordinating stamp and Die sets make it so easy - as you will see as you follow along with he tutorial,

'One of a Kind Handmade by Stephanie Low Stamp and Die Set brings both worlds together of die templates and coordinating stamps to give these images life! The Handmade Collection by Stephanie Low touches on many handmade creatives from stitching to cooking to knitting and everything in between! She has you covered with choices of images and phrases to personalize your gift giving' - Spellbinders

1. Stamp both the One of a Kind and the Feather images using Black Ink.
2. Cut/emboss the images using the co-ordinating Dies.
3. Colour using Chameleon Color Tone Pens.

4. Emboss white card stock using The Flourish Stitch Embossing folder and trim to size.
5. Sponge the centre of the embossed card usind Danelion ink and a Sponge Dauber.
6. Pop up the One of a Kind image onto the centre of the card front using 3D Foam Squares.
7. Adhere the Feather to the topleft of the image using small white 3D Foam Squares on the 'feather' portion and double sided tape on the 'tip' - as this is directly onto the popped up image - this way the feather is the same height as the main image.
8. Adhere the layered card front to the pre-cut card base using Crafty Foam Tape.
9. Randonly glue 3 sequins to the card front.

Flowers in her Hair

Hello friends, thanks so much for visiting.  I am back to share another whimsical card - using another adorable set from Penny Black Inc. fairy flutters transparent stamp set - it dies not get much sweeter than these adorable girls.  Add Spellbinders into the equation and I am in creative heaven!

I have stamped the image onto white card stock using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and coloured it using Chameleon Art Products/Pens - I love the way these pens give such a great variation of colour in the one pen - so quick and easy!

The image has been cut/embossed using Nestabilities Francesca Label Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 6″ Platform.  This has been popped up onto a cut/embossed Breanna's Corset Label Etched Dies Chantilly Paper Lace Collection by Becca Feeken #4 (#1 being the smallest)  This layer has been lightly sanded using a sanding block.

Cut/emboss one Card Creator Framed Floral Card Front Celebrate the Day by Marisa Job Etched Diesusing both the card front centre and the card front frame with pink patterned paper.  Adhere this to white card stock, trimmed to the same size.  The card front has been adhered to a pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Permanent Adhesive.

Adhere a row of pink seam binding around the card front - secure using strong tape. Pop up the layered image onto the centre of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Cut/emboss one Card Creator Framed Floral Card Front Celebrate the Day by Marisa Job Etched Dies, Border Insert and Border Frame using pink card stock.  Cut emboss one Border Frame only using white patterned paper.  Adhere the filigree Die cut to the Die cut base.  Attach the border across the lower portion of the layered image using double sided tape. Trim the extra from the edges.

NOTE: when trimming extra from a card front - turn it over and cut from the back - it is so much easier to see where to cut.

Cut/emboss one banner from the Die D-Lites Amused 1 Etched Dies using blue patterned paper,  Lightly (and gently) sand the banner using a sanding block.  Pop up across the top of the Breanna's Corset Label using small white 3D Foam Squares.

Add a pink Seam Binding bow to the top of the card and a threaded button to the centre of the bow and Want2Scrap Small Pink Pearls along the border from the Framed Floral Card Front and between the flags in the banner.

Sketched Roses

Hello friends - thanks so much for stopping by!  It is Friday here in the Nationals Capital and a Public Hoiday - Australia Day - a day when most Australians have a BBQ - hopefully that is what we will be doing - I am also hoping to find time in The Studio to play with some new products - a great way to send the day!! LOL!

I was gifted this gorgeous Sketched Rose Embossing Folder by Kaisercraft and finally managed to run it through the Spellbinders   Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 6″ Platform using white card stock.

The embossed image has been coloured in using Chameleon Color Tone Pencils - the colours are fabulous and having a deeper colour at the other end of the pencil makes it so easy,  I have been asked how different they are from the Prisma Pencils - there is a slight different as these pencils are slightly firmer and that is something you need to take into consideration when using them - I found it took me slightly longer - and I do mean only slightly to blend - but it was due to technique not the pencil themselves.

The edges have been sponged using Imagine Memento ink in Bamboo Leaves and lightly distressed using a pair of scissors,  The sentiment has been stamped on using Tuxedo Black ink and the flourish in Bamboo Leaves.   White Pearls have been added along the flourish

The embossed card front has been layered into slightly larger pink card stock using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares to add dimensionThe layered card front has been adhered to a card base that has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A Etched Dies.

Penny Black Inc - Today

Hello friends, thanks for calling in.  My card today has been created using a cling stamp from Penny Black Inc. - you can find it here.  I have stamped the image onto white card stock using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and coloured using Chameleon Art Products/Pens - I love the way these pens give such a great variation of colour in the one pen - especially on a background like this.

The image has been cut/embossed using the outer frame from the Card Creator Emmeline Treillage Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken and the largest insert from the Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken, using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 6″ Platform.  The card front has been popped up onto the pre-cut card base, using Crafty Foam Tape.

The sentiment from the Penny Black Inc. birthday love transparent stamp set has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and cut/embossed using Spellbinders A2 Curved Matting Basics B Card Creator Etched DiesThe Die has been used as a stencil, sponged with Imagine Memento Ink in Angel Pink and a sponge dauber.

The Shapeabilities Corner Floral Etched Dies Flower Garden by Sharyn Sowell have been cut using white card stock using the flower Die and the base Flower Die has been used to cut/emboss pink card stock. - NOTE: I have slipped in a little bit of green card stock beneath the leaves. The two layers have been glued together and popped up onto the top left corner of the sentiment.
