Flourishes lc. Heartfelt Words

Hello friends,  I could not resist sharing a another pretty card with you using a sentiment from the Heartfelt Words stamp set from  Flourishes lc.  I love a good sentiment set - we really can never have too many of them - can we?!

The sentiment has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink, trimmed and layered into the heart from the My Funny Valentine stamp set.  The heart has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and coloured using Chameleon Pens. This been layered onto a card front that has been cut/embossed using the  Nestabilities Labels 46 - Decorative Element Etched Dies #2 (#1 being the smallest) and layered onto a card base created using Nestabilities Labels 46 - Decorative Element Etched Dies #3 using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

A Red Mulberry Paper Rose has been glued to the right side of the sentiment that has been 'dove-tailed' at the opposite end. Chameleon Pens have been used to add soft colour around the card front and Want2Scrap white pearls are added to the centre of  the filigree patterns.

Market Fresh - Just for You

Hello friends - it is time to use up all the UFO's on my desk - the Un-Finished Objects - incase you were wondering,  My Studio is fairly tidy the majority of the time - unless I am working on a few deadlines at the one time and then - it is a little more 'spread out' than usual - but my desk - that is a whole different story LOL!  Lets just say that every piece on this card was gathering on my desk...LOL!

The image is from Crafty Secret - I love their nostalgic images!  This has been popped up onto a piece of journal paper using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  The next layer has been created using Spellbinders Nestabilities Elegant Ovals Etched Dies which has been cut/embossed using thPlatinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform and popped up onto an embossed layer using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The layered image has been adhered to a pre-cut card base and I could not resist adding a strawberry from the Shapeabilities Market Fresh by Debi Adams Arent You Sweet Etched Dies and  was calling out to be used - I have stamped ink all over the strawberry to give it texture and depth!! I have finished off with a computer generated sentiment and some ribbon recycled from a Lindt Chocolate Easter egg, with a yellow button.

Flourishes lc - Luscious Layers

Hello friends,  today I am sharing a pretty card with you using the beautiful Luscious Layers stamp set from Flourishes lc.  - it certainly lives up to it's name!!

The Luscious Layers image has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink, then cut/embossed using a Standard Circles dies.   I have used the Die as a stencil and sponged inside the die using Imagine Memento Ink in Angel Pink ink.  The image has been coloured using using Chameleon Pens.

I have stamped and fussy cut the cake slice, coloured it and then adhered it to the right side of the cake - carefully lining up the icing lines. I love the way it transforms the cake - sure looks good enough to eat - such a versatile feature of this stamp set.

The  cake layer has been popped up a slightly larger Standard Circle in dark pink using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  The layers have then been popped up onto the Nestabilities Label 49 Decorative Elements Etched Dies, followed by a pre-cut light pink card base.

The sentiment has been stamped in Black ink, trimmed to size and layered onto pink card stock - this has been popped up onto the lower portion of the circle.

Hello friends - I have a very quick card to share with you today using one of the Flowers Color Cards from Chameleon Pens.  It is well worth checking these Color Cards out - as they have examples of each card and instructions - great if you are learning!

The image has been coloured using only three pens - but look at the range that you can get from each of these self blending pens - I have to say - I am a fan BIG TIME!!  I have added Seam Binding and a double Seam Binding Bow, with a Mulberry Paper Rose adhered,  Want2Scrap bling is added onto the Seam Binding - and yes - it sticks and stays!!  The card front and card base have been cut using the A2 Curved Matting Basics B Card Creator Etched Dies and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform.  I have used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Adhesive Runner on this card,

Spellbinders - As for Me and my House....

Hello friends - I hope you have all had a relaxing weekend - well, at least managed to get an hour or twenty of relaxing and unwinding at some stage.  Monday always comes around so quickly - too quickly really.

I had a little 'revisit' with the Bible Journaling stamps from Spellbinders - you can see my original post and tutorial HERE.  I am so impressed how perfect these stamps are for creating inspirational/motivational cards as well - there never seems to be enough stamps for faith based projects!

I have stamped the Birdhouse Stamps Bible Journaling by Joanne Fink using Imagine Memento ink in Tuxedo Black and coloured it using Chameleon Pens.  The sentiment has been sponged using Imagine Radiant Neon ink in Electric Yellow, the purple spots have been created using a homemade stencil and Radiant Neon in Electric Purple.  This has been layered onto a pre-cut card base. I have finished off by adding two strips of Washi Tape.

This card has been linked to the following challenges:
