FlourishesLC Friday Blog Hop

Hello Friends! Welcome to another Flourishes LC September Challenge  - I hope you enjoyed the New Release sets that were shared last week - and are ready for more inspiration today. Thank you for the lovely comments you made - each one is read and appreciated!  This week Bev has challenged us to use Fall Colours on our cards - Autumn ( as we call it in Australia) is spectacular where I live! If you have come from Beverly's Blog you are in the right place.

I have stamped the Coastal Christmas Wreath onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured it using fall/autumn toned watercolour markers. The sentiment has been stamped using black ink.

The Wreath has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and popped up onto layered white diecuts; then layered onto a precut cardbase using Color Made Easy - Daffodil Paper Collection.

I have finished off by wrapping Color Made Easy 4mm Ribbon (New Leaves Collection) around the front of the card, securing with a bow and adhering a recycled button.

Please check out the other Designers Blogs to see how they have tacked the challenge. The next stop along the way is Naomi.

Hello everyone - welcome to Day 6 of Flourishes September Blog HopIf you came from Tricia's Blog - you are in the right place. Today we are going to see the last new set for the September new release; called Fall Tree illustrated by Lauren Pope.

I have stamped the Fall Tree image onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured it using watercolour markers. It is such a pretty tree and so easy to colour for any season.

They have been Fussy cut/handcut cut out and popped up; using  3D Foam Squares; onto a Die-cut pierced rectangle,  The background layer has been embossed and sponged using light blue ink and a torn layer of green cardstock added, to create the illusion of a lightly rolling hill.

The sentiment has also been stamped using black ink, cut around and also  popped up; using 3D Foam Squares, a single leaf  stamped, coloured, cut and adhered to the lower right corner - sometimes it is the little things!

Flourishes September New Release - Day 5

Hello everyone - welcome to Day 5 of Flourishes September Blog Hop!  If you have come from  Naomi's Blog, you are in the right placeHow are you enjoying the new release sets so far - amazing aren't they!!  We have another wonderful stamp to share with you today - it is called It's all in the Details illustrated by Beverly Cole.

This set is designed to be used with other sets - and it does that so well.  I have used it to frame a sentiment. I have stamped the image twice onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured using watercolour markers.  They have then been fussy cut/hand cut out and adhered to opposite corners of the patterned paper, which is available in the Flourishes Store.  Le Creme Baby Bling strips have been added to each side of the image, to complete the 'frame'.  A length of ribbon has been pleated and adhere across the patterned layer, approx 1/3 of the way up

The sentiment has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and cut/embossed using the Tailor-Made Classic Bookplate Template Die.  The die has been used as a stencil and soinged using Gold Ink and a sponge dauber, before removing the cardstock from the Diecut.  This has then been popped up across the pleated ribbon using 3D Foam Squares.

Be sure to visit the other designers' pages today, your next stop is to go shopping at Flourishes!
