Many Thanks

Hello Friends, I have a quick card to share today - I have been trying to clear my desk - just a little (LOL) and creating cards from what is on there - clearing off the UFOs - unfinished objects - we all have them - or is it just me?!

I have had a stamped image sitting on my desk for as long as I can remember, I am not quite sure of it's origins and have recycled it to create a thank you card - we can never have too many of them at this time of the year,    My card base has been created using 5x7 Matting Basics A Spellbinders® Nestabilities® Card Creator. I have used Imagine Crafts ‘featuring’ Tsukineko Fireworks Spray to add splotches of colour and shimmer onto the stamped image and the double Seam Binding bow - I love the effect - especially on the bow.  My card is held together by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

This card is linked to the following challenges:

Bird Crazy - Your Special Day

Hello friends, time I was back with another card from the Bird Crazy Stamp set. I cannot stop colouring them and creating in different ways, this card is fairly simple and has a stenciled background nice and easy for a quick card...and we all need those from time to time!

The card base has been cut using  A2 Modern Stationery Spellbinders® Nestabilities® Card Creator, for both the card base and the inked layer. The Platinum Die Cutting and Embossing Machine has been used to cut and emboss the layers.

I have coloured this image using Imagine Crafts 'featuring' Tsukineko Radiant Neon Inks and a sponge dauber - one of my favourite ways to colour.   My card is held together by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. The Heart Stencil ifrom Want2Scrap. The background has been created using white cardstock, Imagine Crafts ‘featuring’ Tsukineko Memento Ink in Rose Bud and Sponge Daubers.

Spellbinders Elegant and Eclectic Layers Tutorial

Hello friends, it is always a pleasure to share a Step by Step Tutorial for Spellbinders - so many beautiful Dies both intricate or Core Dies - each one divine - personally, I have never met a Spellbinders Die I did not like!!

My tutorial today shows how to layer filigree Dies from different sets and create an elegant card without having too much happening on it. Although it sounds like a contradiction, keeping it simple seems to work best when doing this.

1. Cut/emboss two (2) Labels Thirty-Nine Decorative Elements using mauve cardstock.
2. Use Tool'N One to remove the negative pieces from the Die.
3. Score one  Labels Thirty-Nine Decorative Elements 1/2" from the top and fold forward
4. Adhere the card front to create the card base - making sure to line up the filigree pattern.

5. Cut/emboss one (1) Oval Regalia using Whirl White cardstock.
6. Use Tool'N One to remove the extra pieces from the Die.
7. Adhere to the card base using double sided tape.
8. Cut/emboss one (1) Lacey Ovals using Whirl White cardstock.
6. Use Tool'N One to remove the extra pieces from the Die.

8. Adhere precoloured and coloured image to the layered card base.
9. Adhere mauve Seam Binding bow underneath the image, using liquid glue
10 Adhere lace flower and handmade resin to the center of the bow using liquid glue.
11 Alternate silver and pink baby bling around the Oval Regatta, as shown in the photo.
