LOC Rise & Shine Postcards

I am a little bit late showing you card 2 for my Card Design Class next week at my LSS.  I usually make a more detailed card (you can see it here) and finish off with something that is quick and easy to make - can be finished at home if need be.

This card is very quick, I have made both masculine and feminine card, so that the ladies have a choice.  I have used the Layers of Color Rise and Shine art stamp set - this is such a fun set.

The Rooster Topiary has been stamped with Distressing Ink and coloured with SU Chalks and Blender Pen.

A collage feel has been achieve with using various images from the Rise and Shine and the Old World Flourish art stamp sets

For the feminine card I used the same art stamps

adding more colour to the Mother Hen

and the adorable chicks - how cute are they!?!  I think they would be perfect for a baby card....

The POSTCARD sentiment is from the Stampin' Up Winter Post set - it is a favourite of mine!
This card is for the following challenges:
Shelly's Images - Anything Goes
Crafts and Me - Anything Goes - Optional...Kraft

You can see more of my projects in my Layers of Color Gallery, while you are there make sure you check out the other Design Team galleries there is so much inspiration waiting to be discovered, we are thrilled that Layers of Color is a Spellbinders Preferred Product Partner
