Prima Birdcage

Hello friends, thank you for stopping by.  Today I am sharing a card that I have recreated from a card I created  some time ago - I did love the effect so decided to 'CASE' (Copy And Share Everything) myself and make a few changes too.

The image is from Prima Marketing - it came free with a Craft Magazine - quite a long time ago, I have always love it - from memory it is called Enchanted.  The birdcage has been stamped using Imagine Versafine Ink in Onyx Black - such a great ink for detailed images,  This has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and layered into Spellbinders Shapeabilities Fancy Tags Two Etched Dies using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The next layer has been trimmed and embossed using the Cabbage Roses Embossing Folders, sponged using Imagine Memento Luxe Ink in Rose Bud.  This has been layered onto a Prima Card Front that I have had sitting in my stash for some time. A metal tag has been added using the Basic Tags Die and Want2Scrap Pink Rhinestones have been added around the Frame and across the Tag.  Lace roses a Mulberry Paper Rose have been glued below the birdcage and Kindy Glitz added to the bird cage.

This has been adhered to an old book page and onto a pre-but card base.  Lots of layers but not too bulky!

Spellbinders Snow...What's Up Tutorial

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a tutorial for Spellbinders to share with you - and I have to warn you - it is whimsical and so adorable!  I have also used stamps and Dies by three of Spellbinders Licensed Designers - can you pick who they are?!

This adorable little penguin has been created using fruit - yes, you read that right - you can see what I mean by following along with the tutorial.

1. Cut/emboss one pear/avocado from the Market Fresh by Debi Adams The Pearfect Avocado Stamp and Die Set  - the larger one in black and the smaller one in white.
2. Cut/emboss one leaf in black and cut through the centre.
3. Cut/emboss two paws from the  Some Bunny Etched Dies My Little Red Wagon using kraft card stock.

4. Layer the white die cut onto the back to form the body.
5, Glue each leaf half to the penguin as arms, adhere the paws as feet.
6. Draw black eyes using Chameleon Pens Black Detail Pen and add white highlights.
7. Hand cut a tiny orange triangle for a beak and glue to the penguins face.
8. Place the die over the penguin, securing with repostional tape and add silver to the lower portion of the belly using the Tool 'n One and the Foam Applicator – Circle.

9.Stamp the Notebook Border Stamp Set Happy Grams #4 Collection by Tammy Tutterow using Black ink onto slightly larger blue card stock.
10. Cut/emboss the Shapeabilities Jagged Edge Etched Dies by Seth Apter using white textured paper.
11.Adhere the Jagged Edge inside the Notebook Border Stamp.
12. Pop up the penguin onto the card front using 3D Foam Squares.
13. Cut one Cascade Dots using cardboard (I have used a cereal packet) to create a stencil
14. Using the Stencil, create snowflakes using texture paste - allow to dry.
15. Lightly add liquid glitter to the snowflakes - allow to dry.
16. Pop up a layered computer generated sentiment to the top right corner of the card front.
17. Layer onto a white pre-cut card base using Crafty Foam Tape.

Blue for You

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  Today I am sharing a slightly 'shabby' card - I have once again been tidying up the UFO's (un-finished objects) that seem to gather on my desk at such a fast rate. As much as I try to clear it all I know that I am really just kidding myself - but I am OK with that! Wink:wink!

The image has been stamped onto blue card stock using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. It has then been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Celebrations Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.

Brown Seam Binding has been wrapped around the lower portion of the die cut image and a double Seam Binding Bow has been glued to the left side of the ribbon, followed by layered flowers o the centre of the bow. This has been popped up onto a card that has been cut/embossed using Spellbinders Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken.
The sentiment has been adhered to the the top right corner of the stamped layer.  Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares and Crafty Foam Tape have been used for dimension.

Spellbinders - Coffee with Seth

Hello friends thank you for stopping by today I'm excited to be sharing a card with you using one of Spellbinders new dies by Licensed Designer Seth Apter. If you know me you know I love my coffee and what is better than a coffee with Seth.

The Shapeabilities Ring String Etched Dies by Seth Apter has been cut and embossed using textured paper from my stash.  Lightly sand the Ring String using a Sanding Block.  Next it has been adhered to corrugated card that has been lightly sponged using Imagine Memento ink in Teal Zeal.

Note: If you do not have textured paper, embossed paper would look great too.

Lots of fabulous layers and texture but still not too bulky for posting - something I try to be conscious of.   The layered rings have been adhered to a pre-cut card front that has been stamped using the coffee beans from the Flourishes,lc My Cup Overflows stamp set and Imagine Memento Ink in Espresso Truffle. The coffee up and sentiment are also from the Flourishes,lc stamp set - the cup has been coloured using Chameleon Pens.  I am thinking the sentiment would suit many occasions from thinking of you...to Happy Birthday - wanna meet for coffee?!  What do you think?
