Baby Love - Me and Teddy Card

xxxxHello friends, thank you for stopping by!  Today I am sharing a tutorial for Spellbinders using the Little Loves Collection by Licensed Designer Sharyn Sowell.  Sharyn's Dies are always inspiring - the original being hand cut using scissors - an amazing skill in itself.  Sharyn is a very accomplished artist and you can read a little about her HERE.

'Little Loves Collection by Sharyn Sowell is full of moments captured in the eyes of little ones as they experience the wonders of life and first milestones.' - Spellbinders

Cut/emboss one Shapeabilities Me and Teddy Etched Dies Little Loves by Sharyn Sowell Die using white card stock and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform.  Sponge using Imagine Memento Ink in Teal Zeal and a Sponge Dauber creating an ombre effect - light from the top working to dark at the bottom of the image.

Pop the die cut image up onto patterned paper that has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Squares Etched Dies using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Crafty Foam Tape.  Next pop the layered image up onto Authentique Paper that has been cut/embossed using Nestabilities Celebrations Pierced Squares Etched Dies and 3D Foam Squares.  Adhere the layered card front onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base.

Want2Scrap  White Double Picot Trim - has been glued below the Die cut image. The Midge Blue Mix flowers from Little Birdie Crafts  have been glued to the left corner of the card front.  The mix contains plain flowers and glittered, which gives great options - I have used the glitter flower in the centre and added Want2Scrap medium white pearls for the flower centres.

Want2Scrap Eternal Swirls have been trimmed and adhered each side of the flower, with the lower bling being added across the lace and slightly onto the chipboard.  Drops of Imagine irRESISTibles Pico Embelliser in Teal Zeal has been randomly added to create faux enamel dots.  A computer generated sentiment has been adhered to the top right corner using double sided tape.

Little Chef Album Page

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I am sharing a page from my Want2Scrap Wanted for Stealing Hearts Chipboard AlbumSuch a cute album and I am having a lot of fun creating it, adding a little bit of mixed media.

The theme of the Album is my Grandson Noah - these photos were taken on his second birthday - all he wanted was a kitchen and how adorable was he using it.  I have to be honest and say - he is turning 3 next week, so I am not as quick as I would like to be! Wink:wink!

The photos have been cut/embossed using Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Squares Etched Dies and the  Platinum Die Cutting Machine Both photos have been lightly sanded around the edges - such a great effect on a photo and popped up onto the Album page using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.  I have added extra details using the Want2Scrap  Chevron - StencilImagine Radiant Neon ink in Electric Yellow and a white Gel Pen, randomly onto the page.

and finished by adhering some of the Want2Scrap Enamel Dots 8mm Stone Size - WhiteI love the 'pop' that they can add.  The other products I have used are listed below.

Whale-come Little One

Hello friends - thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a little change of pace for you today - a friend had these gorgeous Taylored Expressions Showered with Love stamp set and I just HAD TO create something with them - how perfect are they for a baby card!

I have stamped the whales using Imagine Memento ink in London Fog, the waves in Teal Zeal and the water spout in Tuxedo Black - the hearts have been coloured using Chameleon Pens.

The sun has been cut/embossed using yellow card stock and the Spellbinders Nestabilities Fancy Edged Circles Etched Dies and yellow card stock along with the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform The cloud is from the Spellbinders Die D-Lites Sun and Clouds Etched Dies - I find that I use this cloud a lot with whimsical images - just the right size!

The card front has been cut using light blue card stock and the Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies.  This has  been popped up onto a slightly larger white card base using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.   Next the Fancy Edges Circle has been adhered to the top portion of the card base using double sided tape.  The waves have been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and popped up 3cm from the base of the card front also using 3D Foam Squares.

The larger Whale has been adhered above the waves using double sided tape, the baby Whale popped up next to her using 3D Foam Squares for dimension.  The water spout has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors, the hearts coloured and adhered above the whales head using double sided tape.

The sentiment -a retired sentiment from Layers of Colour - which sadly is no longer, has been stamped using Tuxedo Black ink and cut/embossed using the tag from the Amazing Paper Grace Vintage Elegance Becca Feeken Giving Occasions Stamp and Die Set.  The die has been used as a stencil and sponged using Summer Sky Ink inside the cutting lines.  This has been popped up using 3D Foam Squares centred below the waves.  Imagine irRESISTibles Pico Embellisher in Shimmer has been used to create faux water drops around the water spout and the hearts have also had a coat added - for that extra shimmer.

Butterfly Birthday

Hello friends,  thanks so much for stopping by.  Today's card was created for my youngest daughter who turned 20 yesterday.  I wanted it to be special so have brought out the 'Big Guns' - my Spellbinders Dies and Little Birdie Crafts flowers and Embellishments.

I created the card base by scoring Authentique Paper at 5cm, 5cm, 3cm, 3cm and 2cm to create the different height steps - so east to do, especially when using a good thick double sided paper.  Fold the card into mountain and valley folds to form the card base.

Cut/emboss four (4) white Corner Accents and Borders from the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Amazing Paper Grace Swirl Bliss Etched Dies using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform. Adhere the Corners to the corners of the Step card, overlapping the ends to create a squares frame.

Cut/emboss one (1) Nestabilities Hemstitch Circles Etched Dies Romancing the Swirl Becca Feeken #3 #4 (#1 being the smallest) using pink card stock.  Pop this up onto the centre of the layered corners using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Cut/emboss one (1) smaller circle using white card stock, adhere to the centre of the pink Hemstitch Circle.

Cut/emboss one Shapeabilities Wandering Butterflies Etched Dies Good Vibes Only Collection by Stephanie Low using the Wide Wings and white card stock, along with the Backer/base die using pink card stock.  Adhere the two layers together using liquid glue on the body.

The Little Birdie Crafts Flower is from the Vincy Ceram Collection, Beaded Micro Petals Shabby Chic, Catalina CharmThe Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Handcrafted Embellishments.  Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse has been trimmed and adhered to the base of the butterfly.  I have also added lace, and pearl braid.

Spellbinders Folk Art - Floral Bouquet Tutorial

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a new tutorial for Spellbinders - sharing a card created using one of the Folk Art Collection by Lene Lok.  I have used the beautiful Grand Dome 3D Card Etched Dies Elegant 3D Vignettes by Becca Feeken

I have always loved the way Spellbinders Dies are interchangeable and work so well together - so many choices - we are only limited by our imagination!

1. Cut/emboss one Floral Bouquet Etched Die using white card stock.
2. Colour the die cut using Chameleon Pens.

3. Cut/emboss one Grand Dome 3D Card Etched Dies using both the frame and the insert and teal card stock.
4. Carefully cut off the tabs on either side of the Die Cut card front.
5. Lightly sand around the embossed outer edge.
6. Cut/emboss two Grand Dome 3D Card Etched Dies using the outer frame only.
7. Carefully trim off the tabs, score one Grand Dome at 1.5cm, fold forward
8. Apply double sided tape along the folded portion.  Live up the second Die cut and adhere to the first, along the scored portion; ensuring the line up the edges to form card base.

9. Cut/emboss one inside circles using white card stock.
10. Use the die as a stencil, sponging inside the cutting edge using Electric yellow and light touches of Electric Orange ink.
11. Pop up the Circle onto the Grand Dome using 3D Foam Squares.
12. Adhere the Floral Bouquet die cut using liquid glue
13.Glue a threaded button to the centre of the teal flower..
14. Add cream Seam Binding around the card front, adhering on the left side using strong tape.
15. Adhere a double seam binding bow over the join.
16. Glue a threaded teal button to the centre of the bow.

Spellbinders Products:
Other Supplies: White and Teal card stock; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: Extreme Double Sided Tape, 3D Foam Squares; Liquid Glue; Imagine: Memento Ink in Electric Yellow and Electric Orange, Sponge Daubers; Chameleon Pens; 1 medium yellow button and 1 small teal button; Sanding Block.
